This collection of songs pulls together a long standing musical collaboration between Sally and Katrina. Ten years of gigs, Mods, ceilidhs, compilations, videos and informal pub sessions come alive with the accompaniment of Charlie and a few friends. Singer songwriters such as Joan Baez, Bonnie Raitt, Nanci Griffiths and Emmylou Harris have influenced Sally who, though born in Aberdeenshire, grew up in Caithness. Katrina is native to the North, but spent her formative years on the West Coast of Scotland, where an early introduction to gaelic music and song has carried forward to today.
